Kate J. Ray, P.M.H., N.P.

Kate Ray is a Richmond native, a graduate of Trinity Episcopal School, Virginia Tech and Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her Master's degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from VCU in 2007. In addition to her extensive experience working in outpatient psychiatry clinics, Kate also spent 8 years as a DoD civilian working at Fort Gregg-Adams in Petersburg providing behavioral health care to active duty Service Members. She is also a former full-time member of the VCU School of Nursing faculty, where she remains affiliate faculty in support of PMHNP students. 

Kate provides psychiatric care to individuals 16+, with a focus on diagnostic evaluation and medication management for a full spectrum of psychiatric disorders. She has a passion for collaborative, patient-centered care that encourages a holistic approach to mental and physical well-being.
