Tim received his B.S. Degree in Psychology and his M.S. Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. He has over 19 years of experience working in both public and private mental health settings.
The Interpersonal Process of therapy is the conceptual framework which guides his work, believing the relationship between the client and the therapist is an essential component to client change. Tim also utilizes and integrates therapeutic interventions from both cognitive and behavioral schools of thought to best meet the needs of his clients. His solution oriented, interactive and collaborative approach is dedicated to empowering his clients to make changes that not only enhance their lives, but are long lasting.
Tim helps clients with a variety of needs to include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and panic, relationship issues, stress, self-esteem and life transitions. Tim works with adults and older adolescents.
